Marble is a metamorphic rock derived from limestone, existing in a variety of colors, presenting veins or mottling. Used since ancient times, this valuable material was used to build and shape deities, temples, tombs and more. As a decorative material, marble in the form of slabs is now mainly used for walls, interior or exterior floors, kitchen and bathroom countertops, and much more. Marble is a porous stone, so it tends to scratch and absorb stains.
Routine maintenance can be done by simply cleaning the marble with soap and water. Never clean marble with anything acidic like vinegar or lemon, as they can damage the marble permanently. Dry it thoroughly as soon as possible
